Prime

team

Four talented students got together to build a crazy game, which began as a dream, about prime numbers. We knew we wanted to build a game with a purpose, we didn’t want to expend our efforts and resources to produce a carbon copy of an existing violent game. We wanted to develop something that was truly our own and that other people enjoyed and took something back from. This is how the idea of PRIME was developed.

Goals

Our goal is to continue making educational games and developing each of our individual talents. We are looking forward to developing games around concepts and learning techniques and developing a tool that teachers can use in the class room. We want our games to be played and enjoyed in addition to being a learning tool, in order to do this, we plan to build games that adapt to the users skill set and continuously challenge and educate the student.

Students

We want to build games for students by students and are always willing to take on young motivated talent into our team. If you know a student that has interests in educating others with skills in art, music, computers, English, education or management, you are a student that wants to give back though educational games, please email us and tell us about yourself, your goals, visions, and skills.

The talented team behind PRIME is composed of:

David Dorn, Art and visual design specialist
Miran Kim, coder and game play guru
Wesley Pittman, composer and audio authority
Palkin Zed, narrator and management wizard

Special thanks to…

University of Nevada Reno and the following professors for their constant guidance and support to our efforts in game development,

Dr. Eelke Folmer, Dr. Justin Gifford, Dr. Mary Groves, Dr. Lynda Wiest, Dr. James Winn

The developers would also like to acknowledge and thank the students of Truckee High School, Hug High School, and University of Nevada, Reno who graciously gave their time to help with beta testing.
